Casa Salicos

A pure white minimalistic contemporary family house located at Quinta dos Salicos, Carvoeiro, in the Portuguese region of Algarve. Casa Salicos is a new construction we designed as an actual interpretation of the Mediterranean Modernist Architecture in a balanced fusion with Portuguese Cubist Architecture.

The entire building project follows an eco-friendly approach based on optimising the natural lighting/ventilation conditions. A concept with pure straight lines, uniform colour, predominantly white, flat roofing providing outdoor-living terraces and spaces defined by the relation between light/shade over the irregular volumes and shaped by irregular angles
