The rehabilitation of this 1960's coastal house residence nestled on a slope facing the coastal town of Carvoeiro, has been guided by an organic approach encompassing the relationship of the building with the surrounding landscape.
While the existing modernist structure, characterised by pure, white, organic forms, was largely maintained, efforts were made to open up the dwelling by creating various indoor-outdoor spaces giving to the property a distinctive character in a series of terraces, which step upward to the north, culminating at the house and pool deck level.
